Renovation of Ceramics or Natural Stone in Damp Environments
When renovating ceramic tiles in damp areas exposed to a high levels of moisture and water, such as shower areas or saunas, the surface must first be waterproofed.
Thus, in the event of degradation of the old waterproofing, or if it does not exist at all, Hidrostop Flex must be applied directly onto the old tiles.

New ceramics or natural stone must be bonded using flexible adhesive cements specifically for this function: ADHERE Flex CC or ADHERE Ci 2.2 over the waterproofing.
The renovation project is completed with the application of ADHERE Cor 05 joint compound available in 15 colours. In order to reduce execution time and construction costs, the entire SECILTEK solution can be applied directly to old surfaces.
