Treatment of Walls with Rising Damp
Rising damp on walls is usually detected through the appearance of a damp stain at the base of the walls and of efflorescence. This condition leads to a rapid deterioration of renders and brickwork.
When treating walls with rising damp and saltpetre, a macroporous plaster mortar with high water vapour permeability should be selected.
